Hillcrest Lodge

Hillcrest Lodge originally opened in 1961; over the years it has undergone numerous renovations and additions, with the most recent large scale addition opening in 2022. The newly updated facility is bright and spacious, with plenty of common areas for residents to socialize and take part in fun activities.

Hillcrest is ideal for residents who wish to have all their meals and housekeeping taken care of.

Our Social Hub

Hillcrest Lodge not only offers modern accommodations, but we also consider it the "Hub" of Barrhead & District Social Housing.

The kitchen prepares nutritious meals for Hillcrest and Klondike Place residents,  and the dining room hosts many activities and social functions. Our pedway system provides easy, indoor access between the Hillcrest and our other local buildings.

The Hillcrest Lodge building is also home to BDSHA management and administrative staff, as well as our housekeeping services.
